Yes, indeed, that’s the motto of our beloved Strosniders Hardware store.
Strosniders has served the Bethesda/Chevy Chase area since 1953. A
family owned and operated business, the hardware store now has three
convenient locations—our local Bethesda/Chevy Chase store, a store in
Potomac that debuted in 1993, and the Silver Spring store which opened in
2000. Strosniders stores boast having over 50,000 items that make up
one of the area's most complete selections of hardware, housewares,
garden, paint, plumbing and seasonal merchandise. Because of their
outstanding staff, the stores have received many accolades over the years
for their customer service- including being named the metro area’s “Best
Hardware Store” by Washingtonian Magazine.

This fall the Bethesda/Chevy Chase Strosniders offered a Free Lawn Care
seminar. Attendees got tips for having a lush lawn next spring. Topics
included lawn preparation and soil amendments, choosing the correct seed
and fertilizer, creating a yearly lawn calendar, weeds, bugs and other
pests, and new products for your lawn.

In addition, the Potomac store again held a Ladies Night on September
13th, 6:30-8:30 pm. This event included a 15% store discount, massages,
free drinks, and product demos and/or giveaways from vendors like 3M,
OXO, Chef'n, Colonial Candle, Keurig Coffee-makers, Miele Vacuums,
Fluidmaster, Scotts/Miracle Gro and more! Participants learned toilet
repair tips from Fluidmaster, picture hanging made easy from 3M, and
Filtrete water filter installation also from 3M.
